12 Year Anniversary of 9-11-01 Special Events

The 9/11 Memorial Museum will be closed to the public Thursday 9-11. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of various tributes, concerts, memorials, fundraisers, exhibitions and more taking place throughout September, and especially this week, the 13 year anniversary of 9-11 and the year our new 9-11 Memorial Museum opened. The 9-11 ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. and observes six moments of silence. The reading of the names will begin after the first citywide moment of silence at 8:46 a.m.
